Cora-A

Cora A

This is a drawing of the “Cora A,” a ship that once sailed the Great Lakes. I sketched first in pen & ink, then added watercolor. I learned to sail at an early age, built models, and drew ships of all kinds. I was most fascinated with the history of schooners and other ships of the Great Lakes.

    • Thank you so much! I really do appreciate the good feedback. My blog posts are simple, but they do tell a story. Anything you think I could improve on?

  • Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is fantastic blog. A great read. I’ll certainly be back.

    • Thank you so much! I love the positive feedback, and good pointers. I should show more images to help guide the message. Maybe images of the actual ship, and then my interpretations of them. I’m glad you like the content. There’s more coming so stay tuned!
